Traditionally, among writers, November has become National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo for short. The aim of writers during this month is to get words on the page, 50,000 words in a month to be precise.

This year, rather than sign up for NaNo, I have decided to try The Rough Draft Challenge--the brain child of the author Sarra Cannon.

Sarra's husband George, has put together a basic website to record your progress towards your goal and added different levels reach during the month.

I have chosen to have a goal of 25,000 words in November 2024 the Sapphire target.

I will be reporting progress on the novel with a few notes about the process.
